Launch of Primeline Group Women’s Network

Launch of Primeline Group Women’s Network

On Wednesday, Primeline proudly celebrated the official launch of the Primeline Group Women’s Network. This new initiative has been created to celebrate, support, and empower the incredible women across our organisation—and beyond.

About the Network

The Primeline Group Women’s Network exists to create a space for:

  • Connection

  • Growth

  • Mentorship

  • Leadership

It is a place where women can share experiences, lift each other up, and inspire positive change.

Our Mission

Our mission is clear: to create a supportive network where women can thrive, lead, and make a real impact across all areas of our company.

The Launch Event

Our launch event at The Pantry, Ashbourne, brought colleagues together for an afternoon of inspiring speakers and engaging conversations. Of course, there were also some very well-received goodie bags!

Most importantly, the event set the stage for what’s ahead:

  • Mentorship opportunities
  • Skills development and learning events
  • Cross-department collaboration
  • Championing diversity and inclusion

Looking Ahead

This network belongs to all of us. Whether you want to mentor, learn, or simply listen, your presence matters. Together, we will build a community that thrives on support, collaboration, and the belief that when women support women, incredible things happen.

Thank You

A huge thank you to our brand partners for supporting the launch with their generous donations for our goodie bags. There were plenty of happy faces thanks to: Tayto Snacks, Britvic Ireland, Lindt & Sprüngli, Ferrero, Castle King Services, Unilever Ireland, JDE Peet’s Ireland, Colgate-Palmolive, SHS Sales & Marketing Ireland, and Prestige Beauty Ireland.

We are so excited for the future of the Primeline Group Women’s Network and the positive impact it will bring across our business.

Co-Branded Trucks

Primeline Introduce New Boots Co-Branded Trucks

We’re proud to unveil the newly branded Primeline fleet in partnership with Boots Ireland—a fantastic addition to our logistics network and a strong symbol of our shared commitment to service, reliability, and innovation.

These new co-branded trucks are more than just a fresh look on the road; they represent the scale and strength of the Primeline operation. Every week, our team of over 1,200 employees works hard to deliver more than 1.6 million cases across Ireland, ensuring shelves are stocked and retailers can serve their customers. With over 25,000 deliveries weekly and more than 7,500 retailers serviced, our fleet of 450+ vehicles plays a central role in keeping supply chains moving smoothly.

Partnering with Boots Ireland on this new branding is a natural fit. Both organisations are focused on delivering for customers—whether that’s through efficient, reliable logistics or by ensuring communities across Ireland have access to trusted health and beauty products. Seeing our brands side by side on the road is a great reminder of what can be achieved through collaboration.

Of course, bringing a project like this to life requires teamwork. A huge thank you to Setanta Vehicle Sales and Renault Trucks Ireland for their expertise and support in delivering these new vehicles to the highest standard.

So next time you’re out and about, keep an eye out for our newly branded trucks! They’re a moving reminder of Primeline’s ongoing commitment to innovation, growth, and service excellence.

At Primeline Group, we’re proud of our people, our partners, and our fleet—and this latest development is another milestone in our journey of driving success across Ireland.

Newstalk Changemaker Awards 2025

Primeline Win “Sustainable Workplace” at the Newstalk Changemaker Awards 2025

We are beyond proud to announce that Primeline Group has been awarded the Sustainable Workplace prize at the inaugural Newstalk Changemaker Awards 2025!

This honour recognises our extensive efforts in ESG across 2024–25. Here are just a few highlights:

  • Opened Ireland’s largest Irish-owned net-zero energy certified distribution centre, creating 400 new jobs at our Ashbourne campus.
  • Installed over 1,200 solar panels on existing warehouses. Combined with our new LEED-certified units 12E and 12F, Primeline will now generate nearly 1,000 kW of renewable electricity annually.
  • Signed a corporate Power Purchase Agreement (cPPA), ensuring all our energy is renewable and traceable—sourced from the Currabwee Wind Farm in Co. Cork.
  • Donated 291.6 tonnes of surplus food through our ongoing partnership with FoodCloud, equivalent to 694,248 meals and avoiding 933.1 tonnes of CO₂e emissions.
  • Rolled out hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO) biodiesel across our logistics fleet and in our Poundland & Dealz operations delivering low-carbon transport.

None of this would have been possible without the vision and hard work of our ESG leaders Debbie Johnston and Jonatan Krieser, and the commitment of our entire team.

A huge congratulations to all fellow finalists – Oriel Marine Extracts, Hemp Heros, BearingPoint, Diageo and Airfield Estate. It’s an honour to be recognised among organisations that continue to push the boundaries of sustainability in Ireland.

What’s next?

Our sustainability report will be published in the coming weeks, providing insights into our energy performance, emissions, social impact, and long-term goals.

We are launching an ESG mini-series, giving a behind-the-scenes look at our operations, innovations, and forward-thinking sustainability plans.

We will continue to keep ESG at the forefront of everything we do, expanding our renewable energy capabilities, adopting new technology and driving forward toward a net-zero future.

A sincere thank you to Newstalk Changemaker Awards, SSE Airtricity, FBD Insurance, Repak, Close Brothers Motor Finance and all  sponsors of the Newstalk Changemaker Awards for celebrating sustainability in Irish business!

To the entire Primeline team, this award belongs to you!
